In addition, the post requires a flexible attitude and the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes in legislation. You will require experience in giving and receiving information both verbally and in writing and are likely to have already worked with the public in demanding situations. You will be required to hold or complete the Professional Development Award in Housing Law for Advisers at the first intake following appointment. There will also be a requirement to attend training courses within and outwith Orkney. This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
