Multi Skilled Engineer To £35,000 Days, Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day This is a great opportunity to join this established Food Processing company as a Multi Skilled Engineer. As Maintenance Engineer you will be working as part of an established maintenance team within a busy FMCG/Food environment providing breakdown, PPM Maintenance, continuous improvement and assistance. The position will involve maintaining a range of food manufacturing equipment which includes, baggers, flow wrapper, conveyors, multi head weighers, x ray, grading lines and check weighers. The Person For the role will need to have come from a Fast Moving Consumer Goods/Food background, be comfortable working as part of a team but be equally able to work on your own. You will need to have relevant engineering qualifications with a recognised apprenticeship. Skill sets will include good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics systems, the ability to change motors, gearboxes, seals and strip down and rebuild machinery when necessary. Welding skills would be ideal although not essential, TIG, Arc and Gas. Electrical skills sets that will need to include isolation of motors, AC/DC drives, inverters and the ability to fault find using PLC based systems. Hours of Work Mon-Fri 8 hours per day (between 6am-6pm flexi) with a rota of 1 in 3 potentially 1 in 4 weekend working (if you work weekends you would have days off in the following week).
